Job Description

Seeking a Studio Operation Exectuive who is responsible for running the studios day-to-day operations

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing operational activities pertaining to the studio
  • Supervise the daily operations of the company ensuring all other employees are properly completing their jobs with a focus on accountability, tardiness, client‐first mentality, and the reputation of Upside Motion
  • Provide leadership and interact with other employees (client services, teaching, training) to provide consultative support to planning and programming in those areas
  • Oversee, analyze, and execute budget
  • Learning and understanding the use of scheduling software
  • Managing and maintaining client relations 
  • Managing studio and instructor schedules to ensure classes are working efficiently and operating at a profitable capacity
  • Making recommendations on potential class additions or activities that generate revenue and increase profitability
  • Overseeing all reception functions and ensuring receptionists are performing daily tasks
  • Handling complaints/incidents while addressing them in a timely manner, and reporting them to managing partners
  • Coordinating and managing workshops including being present on workshop days as needed
  • Overseeing stock records of merchandise sold 
  • Client check-out and account billing

Requirements

  • Will include occasional work on weekends when needed. Flexibility is mandatory.
  • Self-motivated individual who takes initiative, not just task oriented.
  • Should have the ability to manage people of all ages and cultures and work well in a team setting. 
  • Must be a clear communicator and speak fluent English.
  • Good organizational skills 
  • Good understanding of facilites management including administrative and marketing tasks
  • Experience in customer service management/retail/hospitality
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
