Job Description

The 12-month placement program for undergraduate students will focus on the regulatory and compliance framework applicable to the global compliance and operations risk control function of UBS’s investment banking businesses in Hong Kong, Singapore and across Asia Pacific.
Key responsibilities are to:
• Support senior members of the investment banking C&ORC team
• Provide support to the broader C&ORC department as required
• Co-ordinate/prepare and submit regulatory reports to the Monetary Authority of Singapore
• Co-ordinate/prepare updates to guidelines and manuals across the region
• Review marketing materials in accordance with the Global Transaction & Product Marketing Materials Policy
• Assist with the local monitoring and surveillance program
• Advise the business functions of regulatory developments
Requirement
•Candidates should be taking relevant courses and have an aptitude for working in a fast-paced industry
•Candidates should be enrolled in an undergraduate program and in the penultimate year of study.
•Candidates should have a range of perspectives, experiences and skills
•Academic credentials are important but should be augmented by strong communication skills, creativity, perseverance and tenacity
