Job Description
The Communications Department of TUM CREATE plays a key role in how the investors, employees, and public perceive the company. The department works closely with other departments to ensure it understands the dynamics of the organisation and the information it needs to communicate as well as the communication needs. The department is producing articles like newsletter or periodicals, organising events and development of marketing strategies. It is currently seeking a full-time communications intern for at least 3 months.



In this internship, the successful candidate will gain insights into public relations, event management and marketing for a research institution. He/She will be involved in the following tasks:

- Develop content for the corporate website, social media and internal communication platforms.

- Support in organising events, meetings, delegations and research conferences.

- Photo taking/editing and proofreading for publications in print and digital media.

- Analysing and evaluating the data/information received from the organisation's social media platforms or any relevant sources.

- Produce a report for Management's review as and when is requested.




Requirements:

- Applicant must have completed at least 2 years of undergraduate study, preferably in Communications, Public Relations, Humanities and Social Sciences or a related field.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

- Highly proactive, organised, independent and reliable working attitude.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Online Social Media, and Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and InDesign.

- Experience in event management and organising delegations
