The travel industry, like any intermediatry, is a traditional industry plaqued with inefficiency.More often than not, travellers have to spend precious time weeding out packages that look too good to be true, hoping to find the perfect getaway. That shouldn’t be the way. We believe that honest travel deals can be found beyond shady word-crafted deal sites and sardine-packed NATAS fairs. - Job Description
- We want diligent writers who love travel as much as we do. More importantly, the writer should believe in producing inspiration content for the masses and bringing the world to them. The objective of this position is to produce thoughtful pieces to inspire our readers to break out of their daily lives and explore beyond their comfort zones.In general, you will be responsible for:
- Performing copywriting and editorial work
- Researching on travel, leisure, lifestyle related topics
- Content SEO and visitor metrics
- Maintain a consistent identity throughout the website, blog, marketing collateral
- Providing feedback to product development team to keep us at the top of the game
To excel in this role, you are required (preferrably) to have experience in:- Producing content for blogs, magazines, websites, marketing collaterals
- Managing blogging/digital platforms (WordPress, Tumblr, Svbtle, Medium, Quora)
- Professional communication incuding drafting and proofreading content for marketing materials
- Managing social media channels/tools (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Buffer, Hootsuite) with a personality
- Simple photo editing and basic graphic design
- Working independently with minimal supervision
