THE TRADE ASIA GROUP 

The Trade Asia Group is a global trading firm dealing in chemical commodities, plastics and metals. We have offices in Jakarta, Mumbai, Nanjing and Singapore and are looking to double our manpower as well as foreign representative offices in the next two years. 

We provide product sourcing, and extended supply chain management service, price negotiation, quality control and a lot more tailored solutions for chemical procurement.

We require:

1 x Web Development Intern ($800/month)

1 x Graphic Design Intern ($800/month)

1 x Content Development Intern ($800/month)

Estimated Period: Immediate (2 months / Extension available)

Working Duration: 

Monday, Wednesday and Friday (11am to 5pm) and occasional Saturdays (10.30am to 1pm)

Tuesday and Thursday (Home-Based)

Office Location: Tanjong Pagar

Note:

• All interns will receive written testimonials from us upon successful completion of internship.

• Interns should possess own laptops equipped with the relevant softwares depending on the position you are applying for.

1 x Graphic Design Intern

The intern will work closely with the Web Development Intern to produce their own work of excellent quality. The intern will also have the scope to produce their own designs and give recommendations.

Key Duties

• Design visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces for the web and social media

• Design digital collaterals and other visual communication materials.

• Create and edit clear and compelling marketing collaterals

Requirements 

• Good working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator

• Keen eye for quality design and layout of user interfaces

• Ability to think creatively to produce new ideas and concepts

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Responsible and proactive team player 

1 x Web Development Intern

The intern will work closely with the Graphic Design and Content Development intern to develop a pre-designed web template based on the WordPress CMS engine.

Requirements:

• Good working knowledge of Dreamweaver

• Proficiency in WordPress CMS engine (PHP, CSS)

• Knowledge in e-commerce advantageous

• Good understanding of SEO/SEM

• Ability to think creatively to produce new ideas and concepts

• Responsible and proactive team player 

1 x Content Development Intern

The intern will work closely with the Web Development Intern to develop content for our products through informative & detailed language.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in the English Language

• Excellent communication skills with a pleasant personality

• Adept in MS Office (Powerpoint Presentations)

• Sourcing and research of content for web publication

• Strong interest in journalism and mass communication
