Job Description
THE TRADE ASIA GROUP
The Trade Asia Group is a global trading firm dealing in chemical commodities, plastics and metals. We have offices in Jakarta, Mumbai, Nanjing and Singapore and are looking to double our manpower as well as foreign representative offices in the next two years.
We provide product sourcing, and extended supply chain management service, price negotiation, quality control and a lot more tailored solutions for chemical procurement.
We require:
1 x Marketing & Accounting Intern ($700/month)
A bonus of $200 will be given for completion of every 3 months internship.
20% Financial Bookkeeping
The intern will do basic data-entry of finance documents into the accounting system. Need not have background in accountancy as training will be provided.
80% Marketing
The intern will be given several chemical products for procurement. Guidance will be provided.
Estimated Period: Immediate (3 months / Extension available)
Working Duration:
Marketing: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday - Work from home (Flexibility in timing)
Finance: Thursday & Friday - Office @ Tanjong Pagar (11.00am to 4.00pm)
Note:
• All interns will receive written testimonials from us upon successful completion of internship.
Key Duties
• Data-entry of finance vouchers
• Global sourcing of suppliers.
• Request for quotations/pricing from suppliers.
• Maintaining excel database of suppliers' contact details
Requirements
• Background in Chemistry preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Responsible and analytical with good work attitude.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
