Job Description: Shoot editorial stock for The Middle Ground to complement scheduled and breaking news stories
Conduct interviews, take photographs, attend press conferences and break news and views stories
Do necessary background work to categorize, describe and caption photos
Take assignments and orders from the News Editor and Visual Editor and report to the News Editor and Visual Editor
File stories from the field and from the newsroom
Maintain and enhance the visual style of MG
Work with the editorial team to create content for MG
Provide visual support for advertising/sponsor requirements
Where possible, optimize visuals across MG’s platforms, including social media
