Company Profile: The Middle Ground is a Singapore news portal helmed by veteran journalist Bertha Henson. Launching mid-June 2015, it will cover socio-political commentary in Singapore, news, opinions and lifestyle topics.

The Middle Ground is an arena for those in the middle, whether in outlook or age. A news/views/news-you-can-use portal for the neglected and ignored who form the mainstream in Singapore.
Job Description: Conduct interviews, take photographs, attend press conferences and cultivate sources to break news and views stories
Do fact-checking and other necessary background work to strengthen stories
Take assignments and orders from the Editor and report to the Editor
File stories from the field and from the newsroom
Maintain and enhance the editorial style of TMG
Work with the editorial team to create content for TMG
Provide editorial support for advertising/sponsor requirements
Where possible, optimize content across TMG’s platforms, including social media
Other ad-hoc duties as necessary
