What is Better?
Everyone has some idea on what they think is Better. We'll tell you what's Better.
Better is a digital media publishing company that distributes original content on mobile platforms such as the iPad, Playbook, etc. In short, we publish lifestyle guides on how to find Better shops, Better coffee and Better places to stay in Singapore.
Our chosen intern needs to be tech and fashion savvy, and want to know about the Better things in life.
We always try to give our interns employment prospects, so we're looking for an individual that is passionate about what he or she does. Preferably, we'd also prefer you'd be passionate about:
- Beauty
- Fashion/Shopping
- Coffee
- Hotels
We're a new company, so bear with us as we grow, but we also provide for a fun, relaxed environment where anything goes. We are also fond of grooming individuals, so you can be sure that you will get a great learning experience out of it, or at least, emerge a Better person.

======= Job Scope =======
The person will be working closely with the Editor, the design team to do layouts, craft designs and do illustrations.
He/she must be:
- Well-versed in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Responsible, passionate and able to handle multiple projects at the same time.
- Fluent in English.
Responsibilities:
- Source for images over the web
- Assist in photo shoots
- Etch out products and prepare images for layouts
- Help designers in layouts of the magazine

Students from the field of Graphic Design may apply.
We are looking for an independent individual with a drive to make things work, especially individual with the following qualities:
• Pleasant disposition with a sense of humour
• Adept in MS office and PowerPoint presentations
• Self-motivated individual with initiative who enjoys working within an entrepreneurial environment
