We broadly split our coverage into two areas – the first being more information and fact-driven about interviews, career, family, finance and the second being more lifestyle-focused on nutrition, healthy living, food and travel.

Job Description
We are looking for interns to join the team and gain experience working for a publication.

The ideal candidate should be proactive, equipped with a good attitude and willing to learn. A friendly disposition and a sense of curiosity will be essential. 

The successful intern will generate ideas and pitches for editorial articles and features. He/she will produce written and creative content that covers trends, products and services that impact the Active Ager aged 45 - 65 years old. The role includes researching and securing information and content through news releases, as well as participating in media briefings, press conferences and by attending events.

The intern will also assist with marketing-related tactics such as copy-writing for our newsletter as well as helping with general research relating to our target readership. 

He/she will be assigned a mentor who will help provide support and guidance during the internship period. The position will be based in Singapore and a post-internship review will be conducted by a manager The Active Age.

Desired skills and qualifications for Intern
• Student or graduate with a Diploma and above in Communications, Journalism, Social Science or related field preferred 
• Observant and analytical
• Keen interest and curiosity about trends and society
• Good writing skills in English. 
• Familiar with doing research online, offline and on social media networks and platforms
• Part time, 3 and 6 month internship periods available
