SZHOP (pronounced 'shop') is a social shopping marketplace whose aim is to champion small and local indie businesses worldwide.

Founded in 2012, SZHOP was created with the main intention of bringing together both buyers and sellers from all over the world to interact on a single given platform.

SZHOP emulates a shopping mall experience where each individual seller can open their own store and place their items for sale. Just like they would at a brick and mortar store, each one has the ability to run its own promotions and interact with its crowd. 

• Web application design and layout.
• Rich desktop client application design.
• Creating storyboards, flows, mockups, and experience prototypes to guide development.
• HTML, CSS and JavaScript implementations of your design work.
• Iterating designs based on user feedback research, technology constraints, and market dynamics.

Requirements

• Commitment to clean, usable design.
• Not afraid to get your hands dirty with some code work.
• Attention to detail.
• Collaborative work with an eye towards efficiency and creativity.
• Ability to excel in a team environment.
• Can articulate design decisions and principles to the design, engineering, executive team and clients.
• Self-motivated.
