- The Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) Game Lab began in October 2012 when SUTD was picked by the Singapore government to be the university to continue the work of the Singapore-MIT GAMBIT Game Lab (GAMBIT). We are a strategic initiative under Project GREaT created to pioneer a unique model of game experimentation, education, and training that will propel the Singapore game landscape to new heights. Our aim is to build on the success of GAMBIT to create opportunities to seed new innovators, entrepreneurs and innovations for Singapore, the region, and possibly even the world.

We've got games and game development training programmes in the works and we want you to join us!Working with us, you'll gain1. the ability to learn at your own pace, and hone your skills with a dynamic team2. in the long run, a chance to set the marketing direction for future games and programmes3. an insight into business negotiations, maintaining strategic partnerships and licensing dealsYou’ll be
- Supporting the Programme Director in business development
- Researching, identifying, and initiating contact with leading players in the games eco-system - and figuring out a way to partner with those players
- Working with and providing inputs to game developers to determine focus of production efforts and ensure profitable decision making
- Gathering market intelligence to ensure lab’s competitiveness and capitalizing on market opportunities to identify trends, new games genres and platforms, and developing new ways to ensure sustainability
- Monitoring and keeping the management team informed of trends
- Creating summary reports for key stakeholders as well as assisting in larger strategic research and presentations
