At Street Deal we seek to attract and recruit talented individuals to fill our E-commerce Assistant Merchandiser Internship position, individuals who are poised to succeed in one of the world’s most challenging and fast-moving business environments based in Singapore.

Job Scope:

To analyse demand and supply trends and to source for private labels/ brands in and out of Singapore

Keeping up to date with market trends and new products from top manufacturers and brands

To maximize sales performance of the product catalogue by identifying opportunities through analytical data on best sellers, new reaction, current and upcoming global trends and promotional opportunities

Leveraging and identifying sourcing opportunities either with existing suppliers or with new suppliers

Developing and managing relationships with top retailers and manufacturers to ensure the best prices, best item selection and availability to special promotional/ seasonal items

To benchmark and monitor supplier performance against industry standards

To develop content for weekly business reviews and product development strategy reviews

Requirements:

Entrepreneur spirit, result-oriented

Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Excellent Excel skills

Passion for internet retail and product sourcing

Proactive and adaptable with very good people skills

Willingness to work in a small-dynamic team on your own initiative both alone and in a team

Ability to work within a fast-paced environment.
