Job Description

Mission and responsibilities:

  • Manage and expand relationships with existing or prospecting merchants
  • Proactively contact existing merchants to identify further new business opportunities
  • Maintains regular contact with merchants and explores all additional opportunities
  • Achieve and exceed on weekly and monthly KPIs
  • Maintain and grow the revenue and gross profit of each account
  • Put long-term plans in place to provide the merchant with an element of permanence
  • Keep the platform exciting with our regular partners through new and exciting ideas
  • Construct and negotiate offers which meet expectations of ADG, merchants and the customer
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of your merchants’ business and how you can work on a marketing campaign that is mutually beneficial
  • Good understanding of seasonality's and how often you can feature merchants based on the services they provide
  • Work with internal support functions to ensure that every deal that goes live on the platform meets quality standards


Skills and profile requested:

  • A self-starter who does not need to be micro managed
  • Well organised and able to prioritise workload
  • Process driven - both in working style and ability to propose new processes
  • Flexible - being prepared to get involved in other areas of the business that might not necessarily be deemed a merchandising function
  • Excellent communications skills (Chinese and English) - verbally and written.
  • Examples of having met weekly deadlines with moving targets
  • Strong analytical & numerical skills
  • Evidence of maintaining focus in a whirlwind of change
  • Proof of business-polished written and verbal communication
