Straits Advisors Pte Ltd – Corporate Finance Intern

Established in 1998, Straits Advisors is an independent corporate finance advisory firm that offers a broad range of services to its clients, including Mergers & Acquisitions, Valuations, Debt & Equity Financing, Management Buy-outs & Buy-ins and Financial Advisory & Consulting. Straits Advisors specialises in advising medium sized Asian companies and multi-national corporations undertaking smaller transactions in Asia. 

•          Conduct in-depth industry research and individual company strategic and financial analysis
•          Prepare research documents on potential acquisition targets and perform preliminary analysis
•      Participate in the preparation of materials for clients
•          Screen potential business opportunities and determine possible M&A rationale (buy/sell side)
•          Other related duties as required/assigned

•         Current student with a strong academic track record
•         Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
•           Good communication skills with a strong command of English
•           Proficient in MS Office Applications, such as Excel, Powerpoint etc.
•           Strong team player
•          Experience in M&A and corporate finance advisory preferred, but not necessary.
