Job Description

Please note that this is a full time job and not an internship.

Are you an energetic individual with a passion in events planning and marketing ? Do you have a strong sense of strategic planning and have great ideas ? Do you have a flair for writing and have a way with your words ?


As a community manager, you will put all these skills to the test ! There will never be a boring day on the job as you juggle multiple tasks and learn all types of skills.


We're looking for an individual to be part of our exciting startup in the apparel space.

Learn how to effectively engage users through your writing

Learn about the operations of a startup company

Build up a strong attention to details and a spirit of challenge

Gain some marketing skills (in social media, traditional media) as you test out different marketing techniques

Learn good communications skills for explaining decisions and thought processes clearly


Your Task


Based in Singapore and working closely with the Managing Director, the Community Manager is responsible for:


Creative control – the Community Manager is responsible for creating strategic marketing/communications plans to provide direction for the company’s public-facing communications

Content creation – writing blog posts, articles,newsletters, communications materials, and material for social media channels

Social media marketing – creating strategy,managing and growing the company’s presence through blogs, Twitter, Facebook,and other strategically relevant online properties

Community relations - Monitoring online discussions, media requests and customer relations and responding in a timely fashion

Analytics & Reporting - Monitoring and measuring your success of community engagement (i.e. number of power users,number of discussions, etc.), and providing reports for directors. Also,identifying and reporting on community trends to internal teams and advising on potential opportunities or risks .

Events - Representing the StitchMob brand in a stellar fashion at events, organising meetups, building networks and spreading positive word-of-mouth.


Requirements


Our ideal candidate:


Naturally social and an excellent communicator, you are intelligent,likeable and known for your ability to instantly build rapport with people.

You’re a whiz with social media and have experience with tools to assist with scheduling, reporting and monitoring chatter.

You’ll be experienced with creating content and have exceptional writing skills.

You know how to manage your time,and can divide your day between planning marketing activities, engaging with the community and attending events – while not forgetting to have lunch.

Previous involvement within digital agencies and the fashion industry will be looked upon favourably.
