Job Description

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES


The intern will assist the Talent Acquisition (TA) team in driving Recruitment and Employer Branding initiatives across Asia Pacific regional offices and properties.  

Key responsibilities include:

  • Sourcing and screening of resumes for various positions, through active and passive search
  • Upkeep various Recruitment databases, metrics and systems
  • Analyze Talent Acquisition data and metrics and support the team in proposing recommendations for improvements
  • Support the team in external Employer Branding and Recruitment projects and initiatives across Asia Pacific
  •  Maintain Starwood Asia Pacific Hotels Facebook page through career- related content creation, involved in various social media campaigns, engaging with audience on the page and educating regional offices on Facebook guidelines


REQUIREMENTS

You should be a high-potential intern who is passionate, committed and keen to establish a career in the hospitality industry and/ or the Human Resources discipline with the following attributes:

  • Able to commit for a 6-month full time internship from May/ June to end 2016
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and organization skills
  • Proactive and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • An eye for detail and possess quantitative and analytical skills
  • Positive work attitude
  •  Excellent Team Player
