The Talent Management & Organizational Effectiveness (TMOE) team oversees all Talent Management & Organizational Effectiveness programs, systems and practices in Asia Pacific. This also includes driving the company’s career and leadership development programs, internal employer branding, and organizational culture building initiatives for employees across all levels, departments and locations.

The successful candidate will work closely with Starwood Asia Pacific Headquarters’ Talent Management & Organizational Development (TMOE) team. He or she will be responsible for maintaining the online Talent Development system and support key talent management metrics and reporting on retention, development & employer branding. He or she will also support and manage associate engagement projects such as online associate communication site, organizational culture and diversity & inclusion initiatives. On top of that, he or she will assist to organize and coordinate leadership development programs for key hotel leaders.
If opportunity arises, the candidate can also expect to have some form of local or overseas cross-training exposure and be exposed to award winning Talent Management & Organizational Effectiveness programs. The nature of work will entail supporting the team in both project and development aspects of Talent Management & Organizational Effectiveness.
At the end of the internship, high caliber candidates may be offered the opportunity of joining one of our hotels upon their graduation.
Required Skills & Abilities
- High potential intern who is passionate, committed and keen to establish a career in the hospitality industry and/or Human Resources field
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Excellent command of English
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Undergraduate in Human Resources, Social Science, Business Management, Marketing or Information System major preferred
