When we're old and our hair turns grey, there will always be one way that we can look back on our memories : photographs. This is exactly what we do here at Spark Asia. A phone application service, we help people to print their memories for free. As a start-up, we're looking for someone who is keen to learn and has the skills and devotion to dedicate their time to building up the SparkAsia service.
SPARK Asia is a revolutionary photo-printing service and they are looking for a Superstar Intern who can handle a leadership role.
This internship will allow you to explore the various roles in business, including that of marketing and operations. The learning opportunities are endless here. If you are keen to witness how a start up works and you are ready to, like a sponge, absorb as much as possible, this internship is perfect for you.
Your role(s):
-Managing marketing efforts. This includes social media marketing to help spread the word of SPARK Asia's amazing printing service.
-You will also be helping out with the sales team. Liaise and pitch to big companies to get them to be an advertiser with SPARK Asia.
-Public Relations. Approach or entertain magazines/newspaper or other forms of media should they approach SPARK Asia to find out more about the company.
-Lastly, meet with awesome people in and out of the company!
What you will learn;
-Broaden your knowledge of a startup environment, where your job scope is almost never constant. You will be definitely be guided by the senior team so that you can learn as much as possible in your internship stint.
-Emerge with the ability to handle stress and understand priorities. Because of the free rein given to you for most of your tasks, you can expose yourself to the realities of the workplace that you might not yet have experienced before.
-Lastly, and most importantly, develop the soft skill of being able to interact with people, from your marketing efforts, to your potential customers, to your colleagues, a skill that will follow you throughout the rest of your life!
