Our internships are paid, full time, 6 month opportunities in areas including Digital, Marketing, and Business Development, and offer an excellent opportunity for individuals who are committed to pursuing a career in the music business.
We are looking for self-motivated, hard-workling and enthusiastic individuals with excellent communication, IT and organisational skills. Most importantly, we are looking for creative individuals with a passion for music. Our interns also need to be able to keep calm under pressure and prioritise their own workload. Music based experience, either personal or professional is great, it doesn’t have to be formal, it could be that you write your own music blog, run your own event, design websites and manage social media for local bands, or have worked at festivals or gigs.
Interns will get a chance to work and learn right at the heart of Sony Music, gain valuable experience and establish the start of their career in the industry.
As well as duties particular to the department and specific projects, some general and regular responsibilities for interns include - preparing documents for weekly / ad hoc meetings, updating & managing contact databases, raising purchase orders for costs and invoices as well as general support for the department.
PLEASE NOTE - Intern placements at Sony Music run throughout the course of the year and we will retain your details for a period of 6 months from the date of your application.
