Sonata Dancewear is a manufacturing and retail dancewear company in Singapore. We have been around for more than 30 years but we are still growing tremendously. Currently we have four retail outlets all over Singapore and working with overseas partners in Malaysia, Thailand, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

We are known for producing our own dancewear line that assures comfort, durability, affordability and safety. In recent years, we have developed a design team that focuses on fashionable dancewear besides the basic dancewear that Sonata is proudly known for.

In addition, we have ventured into e-commerce, providing our customers more avenues to experience buying our products. We are moving to internationalizing our website to more countries other than our overseas partners. Interning at Sonata can provide a lot of exposure and the opportunity to touch on many different areas and in turn gaining valuable experiences and a good perspective of the working environment.

=====JOB SCOPE====

The intern would have to work closely with our sales and marketing team to manage our online website using our current platform – SPREE. This includes updating and maintaining the site, tending to any IT glitches and improving or creating features that would be necessary for the website.

=====JOB REQUIREMENTS=====

People from the field of Programming, Web Developing, and Graphic Designing may apply; however, we are very flexible and would consider those who have any working experience in these fields as well. Interns should either be a Singaporean or PR in Singapore.

We are looking for someone with some of these qualities:

• Hardworking and a team player

• Organized and good with planning

• Relative knowledge in coding, programming and web design

• Relative knowledge in the use of the Spree platform
