- Job Description
- The Environment and Sustainable Development Intern will be part of the Green Solutions Department of Sodexo Facilities Management Services, the AMECAA technical platform. The department mission is to provide technical assistance to operations around AMECAA and develop and design tools, technical guidelines, and offers related to environmental services and environmental process engineering.Working under the direction of the Environmental Technical Director, you will assist the team in designing and implementing environmental solutions for client challenges and in supporting bid responses, which includes strengthening the competitiveness of the business and increasing the value for clients. You will help to strengthen AMECAA’s Better Tomorrow Plan and implementation and progress tracking of sustainability and CSR initiatives within AMECAA.This role will require
• Literature reviews and research on innovative environmental technologies and supplies.
• Evaluation of the applicability of various environmental technologies to the business, including comprehensive analysis of environmental, social and economic benefits.
• Assisting with implementation and progress measurement of sustainability initiatives at various project sites.
• Data analysis and database management and updating.
• Extensive use of Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
• Communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to synthesize highly technical information and present it in a user-friendly and visual way.
• Other duties as may be assigned
