Job Description
Scope
S/He will be involved in supporting the marketing functions of a social enterprise focussing on research, with some involvement in planning & implementation of new programmes, and event coordination.  An excellent way to get hands-on understanding and experience in the social sector.

Responsibilities 
  • Industry research on social industry in Singapore
  • Market research (primary &  secondary) to explore new market/ segment for prospective programs
  • Support the marketing and promotion of SoCh including any events/ activities over the course of the internship
  • Depending on the capability & skills of the intern, there will be opportunities to help in writing strategic plans.
Working Conditions
  • 30 hours per week working from SoCh office in Bishan
  • Commitment for at least 3 months
  • Internship fees : $300 per month

Knowledge and Skills
  • Student preferably completing a marketing/business or social entrepreneurship course
  • Good research, analysis and business writing skills 
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal

Other Skills/Abilities

  • Proficiency in word and excel
  • Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills
  • The ability to work to a high degree of accuracy
  • Team-work 
  • Responsible and Self-motivated to complete tasks without constant monitoring
