SoCh is looking for a part-time intern who is to coordinate its annual children’s event Be the Change Exposition. Visit the website to know more www.SoChinAction.com. You should be creative, enthusiastic, independent worker and happy to work with many stakeholders (schools, partners, PR agency, and media) at the same time. It’s an opportunity to conceptualise, design and implement interesting activities for the young. This is a part-time internship for 4 flexi hours everyday work between 9am to 4pm. Possible option to work from home for some days of the week. Suitable for tertiary students, between jobs or home-maker with past work experience.
Some experience with marketing activities or event management would help. More importantly you should have passion to inspire the young (primary & secondary students).
Time period: August to mid-November
Location: Bishan
Estimated monthly income: $300 per month
By the end of the event you would have hands-on experience on working in a social enterprise and how to take ideas from the drawing board to a large event.
You must be able to help us with anything related to events logistics, coordination, social media, judging process, marketing, volunteer management and venues management. You will be guided by the SoCh core team.
