Brief History
The SWA started as a Girls’ Club – Siglap Girls’ Club in 1954, and became a women's club in 1960. She is one of the Founder members of the Federation of Asian Women’s Associations (FAWA). SWA was also known as Persekutuan Wanita Singapura during the days of Singapore’s merger with Malaysia. Since its inception, SWA has been rendering voluntary services with to help make Singapore a peaceful, happy and properous homeland for Singaporeans, via her aim of encouraging women to play a more important role in the educational, cultural, social and economic development of Singapore.

Job Description
Creative Marketing & Project / Events Executive (For A Charity Organisation)
We are currently in the lookout for an energetic and driven individual to join our vibrant team for an upcoming event that the SWA is organising. A highly independent working style is required but he/she has to be a team player as we believe there can only be strength with unity. This is a platform for creative and ambitious individuals, who want to gain experience doing events/project management, to hone your craft and develop original contents.
Jobscope:
  • Marketing
  • Creating and managing contents on our social media channels and websites
  • Copywriting
  • Designing of Collaterals
  • Liaison
  • Administrative duties
  • Coordination
  • Customer Service
  • Any other assignments that you may be tasked to do

Office Hours:
Place of work will be largely in the office. Will be required to travel for events. Usual working hours are from 1030am-6.30pm, Mondays to Fridays. Hours may vary depending on event. Further details to be provided for shortlisted candidates.

• Have a high level of proficiency in English (in both spoken and written)
