Singapore River One (SRO) is a private sector-led partnership charged with the day-to-day management, maintenance, enhancement and marketing of the Singapore River. SRO is a legally-established not-for-profit company with a singular focus on leveraging public and private investments, increasing footfall, and enhancing property values within the Singapore River precinct.
SRO is responsible for place management of the entire Singapore River precinct – including Boat Quay, Clarke Quay and Robertson Quay. It is the intent of SRO that the river be managed as one precinct – one destination – with specialized programs and service delivery methods utilized in each quay as needed, and as directed by a 5 year business plan.
This partnership initiative will leverage and pool resources from a variety of public and private sector sources; it will have the involvement and participation of both public and private sector stakeholders, and it will be empowered with the role of implementing the business plan and place managing the Singapore River precinct.
- Job Description
- The Project Assistant reports to the Marketing and Communications (Marcomm)Manager and is responsible for:• Provision of research direction and assist in strategy for marketing and marcommcampaigns• Assist Marcomm Manager in management of campaign timelines• Support in creating all external communications from SRO including but not limited topress releases, letters to the editor, a monthly EDM, email responses to stakeholdersetc• Assist Marcomm Manager in developing and implementing public relations &communications strategies to generate media coverage for Singapore River One and itsmembers across all media (traditional and new)• Review, recommendation and approval of media contra partners• Assist Marcomm Manager in managing and updating the company’s digital platformsincluding social media, website and mobile app including content management andcreation• Assist in management of agencies (creative, social media, PR) and vendors (printers,website) where applicable• Assist Marcomm Manager in proof-reading and proof-checking all out-going SROwritten collateral• Assist in management and marketing of SRO events, promotions and campaigns• Working closely on other projects as needed
