Job Description

Summary:

Energy-efficient design with 32-bit ARM Cortex is the essential feature for our EFM32 product family. Candidate will be responsible to verify an Ultra-Low-Power Precision Analog Peripherals (such as ADC, DAC, IDAC, Comparator) using Mixed-signal simulation.

Intern Project Focus:

The intern will be working on a live EFM32 project focusing on mixed-signal verification. The intern will work on creating new system level mixed-signal tests involving all the analog peripherals and to ensure that all the energy modes can be accessed, the transitions across the modes are gracefully executed and according to the requirements.

The objective of the position is to improve the efficiency and quality of the design for 1st pass success.

 

Responsibilities:

1.    Develop a test bench environment based on verification needs

2.    Understand the analog IPs and write VAMS model to describe the analog behavior

3.    Run IP/TOP level mixed-signal simulation using AIUM/Spectre/APS/Ultrasim

4.    Candidate should be able to debug/analyze/propose solution based on the simulation result

Qualifications:

  • Broad knowledge and experience in:

    • Digital design and Verification, Scripting (Perl, TCL etc.), cadence incisive simulator, virtuoso

  • Above average skills in: 

    • System Verilog, C,

  • Excellent skills in: 

    • Verilog language, Verilog simulation, debugging design

  • Demonstrated ability to:  

    • Work under defined timeline and deliver quality results

  • General knowledge of:

    • ARM processors, AMBA simulation environment, ADC, DAC, IDAC, comparators

Experience and Education:

  • Degree, Major: Electrical and Electronics Engineering

  • Specialized training in: Integrated Circuit design (Digital design) preferred
