It is in that capacity that we invite you to apply for the role of Talent Acquisition/Management Intern, because we need a star to hire stars.
This job is no walk in the park. Then again that was never what you were looking for in an internship. Expect long working hours and tough recruitment pitches to potential candidates. You will push yourself to the limit with sourcing for new ways to reach out to candidates and to convince potential talent to join the team. The pitches themselves are tough, candidates expect you to have oversight of the business and of the role required of them – tough asks for any person new to eCommerce or startups in general. You will often have the need to improvise, and this excites you. Thinking on your feet is a skillset that should come naturally to you and you are keen to explore the field of entrepreneurship and business.
You are both a social butterfly and an innate salesperson. Empathy is something you hold yourself to and with every great hire you feel a sense of accomplishment in having made a difference to the business and in someone else’s life. ShopBack is a promising, driven startup and you will play a pivotal role in bringing in talent for the business.
The bad news is – you probably have no experience with interviews, sales or recruitment. But here’s the good news – you have an amazing team, business and mentors to back up your pitch and you will never be left in the deep end of the pool. We will teach and groom you to learn business.
Job scope
· Reaching out to various recruitment channels, networking
· Interviews and recruitment decision making
· Liaison with all business functions to understand needs and job scopes
· Understanding business direction, strategy and development
· Day to day HR job requirements related to managing the talent in the team
Requirements
· No prior experience required, only a crazy drive to learn and make a difference
· Able to commit for a minimum of 4 months and start immediately
· Sociable, able to think on your feet and to adapt to rapidly changing circumstances under minimal supervision
