Job Description

Engineering is design – creation and innovation. It is about building something that is efficient, yet ergonomic; complex, yet elegant. Then again, it’s more than just that – Engineering is about change and being part of a revolution, because the best of engineers are drivers of innovation.

ShopBack is on the verge of that change – we are looking to take the Southeast Asian market by storm and want you to be part of that effort. As an intern of the tech team, you will be managing and designing the systems that support our platform, building a product that caters to the mammoth eCommerce market that is Southeast Asia. Learn from the masters of the art of engineering as we hire only the very best developers in the region to be a part of our tech team.

 

Your job scope includes:

·       Develop server side code for all web-based applications

·       Develop robust, high value and high traffic applications

·       Work with internal teams to translate feedback and targets into technical solutions

Qualifications:

·       Comfortable working in PHP (Non-PHP users are also encouraged to apply if they are willing to learn the language)

·       Java, HTML, AJAX and CSS coding experience

·       Unix shell scripting and systems administration experience
