- Job Description
- Being part of our software team, you will work closely with some of our best developers and be exposed to the following job scopes:
- Optimizing the website for usability on all user-facing platforms (such as PC, tablet, mobile) and across various browsers (such as Chrome, Firefox, IE)
- Building and maintaining the Google Analytics framework for the website
- Assist in handling issues in dev ops, such as managing the admin interface and UAT process
- Database optimization and construction using the latest cutting-edge technologies and servers
- Researching and recommending appropriate technologies for further ecosystem streamlining
- Conducting code walkthroughs and quality assurance (e.g. debugging) with development teams
- You are highly flexible, adapt fast to a rapidly-changing environment and learn quickly on the job
- Have proficient/native knowledge and usage of HTML5, CSS, and Javascript
- Able to effectively implement responsive design for websites (cross-platform, cross-browser)
- Experience with jQuery, Twitter Bootstrap / Foundation and CSS3 animations
- Working on and develop re-usable frontend library of components
- Able to collaborate on finding and fixing bugs, and scalability/optimisation issues
- Working experience coding features in PHP connecting to a storage/cache layer in MySQL / Memcached
- Experience working using AngularJS, EMberJS, RequireJS, Backbone JS or other similar
- Experience using version control such as Git
- Able to write / architect good templates, in any form
- Experience with PHP coding and frameworks (such as Codeigniter)
- Experience working with agile methodologies and practices
- Able to develop features for the website on backend terminals
