The internship job scope is as follows:
Position Overview:
Reporting to the Marketing Director, the business executive is responsible for providing information and insights regarding customers, markets, competitors, campaign effectiveness, and to measure business strategies and performances. The understudy will have exposure to planning, managing retail outlets, wholesaling to SMEs and will work closely with the senior management.
Responsibilities:
Provide ROI analysis on all marketing campaigns and sales activites
Assist in daily operations in retail outlets on rotation basis
Conduct market research to analyze competitors; determine brand perceptions; evaluate market penetration and understand customer needs
Develop focus groups and surveys to capture market research data
Perform competitive analysis to maintain our competitive advantages, monthly report
Maintain and update company’s website weekly, including advertisements, PR and website messaging
Follow up on delivery orders with wholesale clients, including pitching to potential SME clients
Assist in inventory checks and calculation of turnover ratios
Requirements:
Basic knowledge of marketing, sales and business processes
Good business writing and reporting skills
Strong computer skills, including business intelligence and excel knowledge
Effective time management and organizational skills
Ability to travel at least 10% of the time as require
