SFIC Institute, a subsidiary of the Singapore Furniture Industries Council (SFIC) started off as a training and development initiative for the furniture industry in 2004. It was privatised in October 2010 to cope with the growing needs for human resources and talent development. This is to ensure the furniture industry’s long-term viability and sustainability goals are met.
At SFIC Institute, we strive to be the one-stop solutions provider for our industry players. We partner closely with industry and international experts to ensure that our programmes are abreast with the latest trends and developments. Our programmes are experiential, practical and relevant. To cater to the needs of the industry, we offer a holistic range of courses and services which include areas such as human resources consultancy; recruitment services; training and development and design-centric workshops. We partner with various governmental agencies such as NTUC’s e2i, SPRING Singapore, Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA) etc; tapping on their funding support to ensure that SFIC Institute offers the best values programmes and initiatives to our customers.
