Job Description
ServeAd Media is a young and energetic advertising media agency, specialising in Serviette Advertising, an innovative direct marketing platform. We help advertisers break away from the clutter of the old and define a new medium of advertising.
As a web developer intern, you will be tasked with web development on our new web portal for our new business arm. You will work in a close team and be involved in concept and idea generation, development of web portal according to creative brief.
YOUR JOB SCOPE:
- Designing, building, editing interactive websites with an emphasis on user interface, user experience, interactivity. Website created will also content management system, payment gateway, loyalty reward system, intuitive aesthetics and search engine/ social media compatibility.
- Run test of the application to identify bugs that need to be dealt with
- Solve problems by re-writing the code or adding new code that works around the problem
- Discover how technical skills can be harnessed to strategically support the commercial functions of a web business
THE REQUIREMENTS:
We are looking for an independent individual with a drive to make things happen, works hard and plays hard.
- HTML / CSS / PHP/Ajax ; MySQL/ Java Good backend programming skills required
- Adobe photoshop will be an added advantage
- Strong work ethic, Positive attitude, cheerful and good interpersonal skills
- Strong passion to pursue a career in web programming and development
- Independent, self-motivated & objective-driven
- Resourceful and possess good analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Strong grasp of Photoshop & Dreamweaver
- Knowledge on social media and search engine optimization preferred.
