Job Description

Position Description:

We are seeking an Intern from September 2013 to January 2014 working 3 days per week. Reporting to the Director of Global Regional Marketing, and Manager of Regional Marketing - APAC, the intern will support implementation of marketing plans and support marketing activities for APAC.

Responsibilities

Events planning and execution

  • Take care of trade and industry events in APAC
  • Communicate with event organizers and internal team for event participation
  • Coordinate event execution including booth, collaterals and attendees

Support regional and global marketing campaigns

  • Work with global portfolio marketing team and lead where relevant
  • Localization of contents, assets and delivery as needed
  • Represent the region and provide inputs to factor in regional nuances

Sales enablement

  • Localization of contents and assets based on regional needs
  • Work with external vendor and Project manage asset translation
  • Drive adoption across the region
  • Support sales training and certification program
  • Roll-out sales enablement tools in the region

Market Development

  • Support marketing leadership to nurture partnerships in APAC
  • Prepares materials for internal and external presentations on products, business plans and management issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Major in Marketing or have relevant experience in the airline/travel industry will be an advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese.
  • Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Attend team calls or project related calls at night occasionally.
