Pyrks is developing an innovative online employee benefits platform that lets small and medium sized companies reward their staff with big-company style employee perks.

Pyrks pools businesses together to form a powerful network and secure deep corporate savings typically reserved for large companies. For as little as $2 per employee per month, Pyrks’ easy-to-use platform connects employees to the best pre-negotiated services available in their location, such as gym, yoga, restaurants, laundry, childcare and much more.

As an intern you are exposed to entrepreneurship and what it takes to build a technology company (e.g. Groupon). At the end of the internship, you will be able to take away real skills ranging from marketing, technical, and business management related. And also be part of an invaluable network in the tech and startup industry. You know who Mark Zuckerberg is, and probably may have watched Angel’s Gate on TV.

======= Job Scope =======

The person will be working with the CEO and be highly involved in the following aspects of the business:

• Sales & Marketing (Lead generation, conversion, approaching merchants, follow up)

• Business planning (understanding financial metrics, working on milestones, operations)

• Online marketing and social media (using LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and blogs)
