Job Description
- To manage PR campaigns under the direction of an Account Director.
- Assist in the development and implementation of public relations initiatives & campaigns.
- Liaise with Singapore and international media in relations to placement of features and editorials on behalf of agency clients. Respond to requests for information from the media and from other sources. Establish and maintain positive relationships with media and other groups of importance to agency clients.
- Plan research and write feature articles and press releases.
- Manage event-planning activities (e.g. product launches etc).
- Have a strong understanding of Social Media and the role it plays in public relations and communications campaigns. To also have an understanding of basic film and film production.
- Be involved in meetings with potential clients. Undertaking research for new business proposals and presenting to prospects.
- Minimum of 01 year experience in a public relations agency or in-house communication team.
- Degree in Marketing or Communications (preferable).
- Excellent written and spoken English. Knowledge of Mandarin advantageous.
- Excellent knowledge of world affairs.
- Highly creative
