- Job Description
POSITION: PR AND COMMUNICATIONS INTERN
1. Drafting of press materials for press kits, website and social media content
2. Execute and plan Public Relations Campaign (Press Event and Launches)
3. Interact with top SG bloggers and create a solid bloggers network
4. Liaising on a daily basis with clients and the media, often via telephone and email;
5. Relationship building and networking with clients, potential clients and the media;
6. Monitoring the media, including newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, newswires and blogs as well as business development opportunities with clients;
7. Develop client proposals and implement the PR activity;
8. Preparing regular client reports and attending client meetings;
9. Researching, writing and distributing press releases to targeted media;
10. Promoting news stories and features to the media, known as ‘selling in’;
11. Collating, analyzing and evaluating media coverage;
12. Event management, including press conferences and promotional events; attending and promoting client events to the media;
13. Assisting with the production of client publications, such as in-house magazines;
14. Commissioning market research; coordinating studio or location photography;
15. Undertake research for new business proposals and presenting to potential current and new clients.
