Job Description
Porter Novelli is a global public relations leader and has been a pioneer in the industry for four decades.

Our Singapore office provides public relations strategy, support and social media management for leading brand recognized across the globe including P&G, Mercedes-Benz and HP.
Requirements:
- Currently a student or recent graduate with an interest in Public Relations
- Preferred areas of study include: communications, journalism, political science, marketing, literature or related course study
- Previous internships are a plus
- Ability to work full-time (M-F) for a 3 or 6 month period, as part of an account team
- Ability to work well with others and demonstrate a positive, flexible attitude
Responsibilities:
- Support multiple account teams with various projects
- Assists in the development of press materials, including press kits, pitch letters and coverage recaps
- Helps coordinate meetings, special events and/or conferences
- Develops media lists and monitors media coverage and trends
- Researches consumer, industry and marketplace trends
- Creates and maintains coverage reports
- Provides additional account-related support as necessary
- Participate in office wide initiatives, including professional development and brainstorm sessions
- Regularly meet with assigned mentor for support and guidance in learning the PR industry and business environment
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent writing and organizational skills with an attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet research
- Creativity and critical thinking skills
