PLUS Collaboratives is a young design thinking studio and our focus is on a user centred approach in design projects. A vision for clients is realised through an understanding of targeted audiences and charted curation.
We analyse the position of our client’s objectives and search for opportunities for the vision to be expressed. Whether a physical object or other suitable forms across the various mediums, specifically, space, programme, graphics and events, etc., we hold strongly the importance of context and seek to instil a local specificity to the framework of existence of the vision for our client’s brands.
We focus on the details; in the conceptual sense, we develop an overarching plan consisting of relevant strategies to empower the project. In the physical sense, we bring our client’s projects through the importance on materiality, tactility, quality, usability and relevance for a complete visual and experiential approach.
Design Approach
“If you are asked to design a farm, one has to understand and work with a farmer in order to truly design a farm that pushes the boundary of conventional yet is usable.”
We often find ourselves explaining the analogy of designing a farm to explain our design approach. We believe that the understanding of the ‘environment’ of a project which includes physical built components as well as a cultural, social, habitual context is extremely important to the success of a brand’s vision.
Much care is taken to understand and create relevance for acceptance of the project through an understanding of context, target audience and objectives. It creates a ‘glocal’ understanding of the project where the message remains universal, yet with a local flavour in relating to its market or environment.

Job Description
PLUS is a design thinking studio and we're looking for a fresh young, earnest creative to join our studio as an intern.
Our projects are varied in nature, covers from graphics, to curation to spatial design to logistics, you can expect to work on a varied mix beyond purely designing. We spend hours on design, and hours on the "boring" stuff of prep work, etc. Do expect to work along side us through all these.

-festival programme development
-Festival production assistance
-idea development for projects
-design logistics
-etc
No prior experience need, just willingness and an open mind with knowledge in Photoshop, illustrator and inDesign skills. We appreciate the ability to work independently. Work hours are flexible, varying intensity according to needs of the project. During crunch time, when we work you work too!
