Join us as an events management intern where you will be a part of the team that runs an regional event that attracts 400 delegates every year. During the internship period, you will learn first-hand, the intensity of creating a first class event. But more importantly, you will experience a rewarding journey as you see the event unfolds and finally preparing for The Day to arrive. You will also learn creative ways of engaging the attendees after the event.
(Job Scope)
The intern will be working with the Marketing Manager and will be involved in the following:
1)Crafting, scheduling and executing eDMs
2)Working with the event management vendor to monitor registration and helping to resolve any issues or special requests
3)Preparing weekly reports on registration status
4)Planning marketing materials for the event
5)Manage Parallels booth onsite at the event

Students from the field of Mass Communications may apply.
We are looking for an energetic individual with a positive attitude to learn and with the following qualities:
- Good communications skills and is familiar with social media
- Interested in copywriting
- Good eye for details
- Proficient in MS Office particularly MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Basic HTML skills is an added advantage
