Palm Ave Float Club is a startup offering Singapore's first floatation service. Some athletes use floatation to get a physical and mental edge in competition. VICE magazine calls it an organic way to experience an altered state. We believe that floatation is one of the best tools for personal development and inducing creativity. We want to create an avenue for city dwellers to find calm, clarity and purpose amidst the hustle and bustle.
We are located in the East of Singapore. Our space houses three floatation tanks in individual rooms, each with showering facilities. We have been featured in publications such as Stuff Magazine, Yahoo! News,Time Out Singapore and more.

- We are looking for a marketing/advertising intern to help us expand Singapore's growing
float movement. Your goal will be to spread the good word about floatation through creative use of the Internet/social media, so as to help us drive demand for weekday floats. If breaking into new markets and bringing fresh ideas to life excites you, this is a great opportunity. You will be working closely with the founder (he's currently going through a hawaiian shirt phase - in other words, it's a fun environment). Ultimately, we are looking for young jedis with a great attitude, enthusiasm for good ideas, willingness to learn and an eye for design.
Your responsibilities
- Experiencing and learning all about floatation (free floats included)
- Assisting in developing social media/web content
- Managing day to day operations at the float club, including scheduling float sessions and basic tank maintenance. (Your working hours will be flexible and on certain days you may work from home.)Skill sets we are looking for
- Comfortable with photoshop and/or illustrator
