Overt Media Pte Ltd is home to an award-winning and versatile Creative Team. With more than 30 years of broadcast experience between the team, in both domestic and international arena, our expertise range from the production of HD Documentaries and Television Dramas, to Corporate Reels. We are constantly pushing the boundaries of our imagination, to explore new and inventive ways of producing original content.

We are looking for interested individuals as our Production Assistants interns.

Internship period from March to June 2012, with possible extension upon agreement between both parties.

You will working alongside producers and director, in which we will allocate your daily duties.

Job scope may include :

• helping out with logistics coordination,

• preparations for casting,

• location scouting,

• research,

• sourcing of footage/audio,

• liaison with vendors,

• production support during filming (buying food and drinks, set up/ tear down of locations, managing props/costumes, runner, ushers etc.),

• administrative work

• archiving

• deliveries

We are looking for individuals who

• Possess basic experience in pre-production, production and post-production work. If you had worked on your school projects / personal short films or videos / helped out a friend in their video/ film work, we want you !

• Are currently studying / on long break / graduated from film studies, music, theather, audio studies and/or Mass Communications

• Has knowledge of editing software (FCP, Photoshop, etc).

• Has a drive to make things work, who are creative, organized, can communicate well, and comfortable working long hours, if needed.

Those without experience, but has self-initiative and keen to learn can apply too.

Peference will be given to Singaporeans / SPR / Foreign Students with Work Pass exemption (before their Student Pass expire) applicants.

As the internship period is short, we are unable to assist foreign students who wish to apply for a work permit after this internship.
