Community Engagement (CE) Programmes
Internship Job Description
OnePeople.sg is the national body championing Racial Harmony in Singapore. Interns will be exposed to the various programmes involving various community stakeholders and the daily operations of a non-profit organisation. Interns will be engaged in the administration and smooth-running of community outreach and engagement programmes namely the Capability Building Programme for IRCC leaders and Orange Ribbon Celebrations to promote the cause of racial harmony. Interns will:
a. Assist in administration tasks and logistics planning of programmes which includes preparation of publicity materials, registration of participants, coordination with vendors, preparation of programme materials and collating feedback.
b. Assist in information-gathering for development of programmes.
c. Assist Supervisors in ensuring the smooth running of CE initiatives and attend functions
Details of Intern’s duties & responsibilities as follows:
Administration
• Updating and maintaining CE Databases
• Preparation of registration list, feedback form, participant tags, volunteer handouts etc.
• Collate feedback after completion of programme.
Logistics
• Sourcing for vendor quotations to engage services for CE Programmes.
• Coordination of delivery of logistical items and equipment.
• Conducting site recee, taking of photos, drafting layout of event venue, seating arrangements etc.
• Assisting in the design of poster, backdrop, cover slides and other publicity materials
