The agency provides strategic public relations counsel to a variety of clients across its six core practices: social marketing, public affairs, healthcare, consumer marketing, corporate, and technology. This is your chance to both build upon and utilize your experience in social media marketing. An ideal candidate must be a brand champion, an agency facilitator, and an opportunist that helps grow the business. Strengths in writing, project management, creative thinking, and/or risk management and team management. Interns receive real, valuable hands-on experience to develop their social media expertise, project management skills and strategic thinking. Internships here go beyond making photocopies.
- Liaise with appropriate personnel to resolve issues arising from payments and generate appropriate management reports and to highlight to management for any irregularity in payment
- Assist in the monthly closing of accounts, to capture all invoices received and provide information to GL Section for accruals
- Ensure all invoices are matched with relevant supporting documents with approved authorization
- Assist in Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payables Functions
- Maintain proper filing (e.g payment vouchers / petty cash vouchers)
- Provide accounting & admin support
- Day to day accounting functions
- Any ad-hoc duties assigned by Reporting Manager
Requirements:
• Background in Finance/Accountancy will be desirable
• Basic accounting knowledge
• Proficient in MS office applications
• Able to work independently as well as in a team
• Other Requirements:
• Organized, Meticulous and result-Oriented
• Pleasant personality with good communication skills.
