Job Description
This position is ideal for individuals that wants to explore the challenges of a project manager with emphasis on technical skills, business process mindset and a strong ability to independently drive projects from both cost management and quality control perspective. Focus of technology will be on website content management system, e-commerce, Facebook applications, mobile app and Internet security. As the position is currently open for executive level, the responsibilities will be trained & guided by a leading project manager for the first 9 months.

Job Responsibilities

Project Management and Implementation

1. Adopt a flexible approach for requirements, build, testing, and deployment

2. Gather requirements from stakeholders to identify business processes and translate them into use cases, features and exception handling flows

3. Research and use best practices to model the system design and information architecture based on the requirements

4. Use wireframe visualization approach to simulate user flow and functionality

5. Documentation of user requirements, application flow and functional specifications & designs

6. Handle communications with the development team to ensure accurate understanding

6. Define and manage test cases (functional, validation, and systemic)

7. Lead the User Acceptance Testing and cutover to live environment


Vendor Management

1. Build up and maintain a pool of reliable suppliers with complimentary technical competency

2. Use online tools for progress tracking, code review, version control, quality checks

3. Negotiate with vendor on costs, schedule and project scope 

4. Contribute to project P&L by being accountable for costs control 


Technical Support

1. Act as the technical subject matter expert for business proposals and clients queries

2. Take the lead for any technical related problems encountered by the project team 


Job Skills

1. Ability to quickly understand the business processes and system platforms

2. Interest to read up on technology trends and suggest best practices

3. Desire to identify opportunities and make suggestions for improvements

4. Ability to effectively analyze processes and systems and suggest system solutions

5. Ability to identify common errors and root causes

6. Ability to effectively plan initiatives, generate task lists, and set priorities
