Job Description
Support the team designing and building a cutting-edge new approach to analytics and insight generation at Nugit Singapore, a revenue generating startup.
Fresh from a new round of funding, Nugit is expanding and looking for additional engineers to work in the data science team to turn data into beautifully presented information, graphs, reports and recommendations
that are streamed to big brand advertisers in a feed similar to Facebook.
We have built our data science stack in Python. You'll work within these foundations together with our API services for data retrieval to take data from our integration partners and embed it within the Nugit platform to
help our customers turn it into information.
What you'll be doing:
Support our integrations roadmap by supporting the integration of new
data sources into the Nuglabs infrastructure.
ETL procedures to port new data sources to existing Nugit visualizations.
Update and improve existing Nugits with new metrics and dimensions
based on client feedback and requirements.
After first 3 months, you will expand the role to include more
sophisticated Nugit creation and work with the team implementing
advanced algorithms around Recommendation Engines, Machine Learning
and other modeling algorithms.
20% Time
Work with product management to completely own an experimental
project that brings new life to Nugbot. Open projects include:
Nugbot Slack / Email integration
Tableau.Nugit SQL Endpoint
What’s required?
Be a true team player and partner with the other Front-end and Back-end
Developers, Visual Designer, UX and Product Designers to deliver
software.
Self-sufficient worker, can find solutions not problems.
A Can Do attitude, flexible to think about what’s possible and not worry
about limitations.
2+ Year experience with Python libraries
Experience with cloud infrastructure such as Heroku, Amazon Web
Services and Mongo Deployments.
B.S. in Computer Science or related field OR equivalent work experience
