Responsibilities
You will be leading the product team that is responsible for all aspects of the MVP development from the initial specification, through to evaluation & selection of online marketplace softwares; customizing it, testing, data collection & refinement.
Based on test data and feedback gathered, you will be responsible to specify system and user requirements for the next stage of developing a complete product. We are looking for a well-rounded Technology Strategist / developer who loves writing code and desires to be part of the e-commerce wave of transforming traditional retail business with technology and new media strategies.
Required Skills / Competencies
- Degree in computing science. Preferably, reading a masters in information systems or technology management.
- Write “clean”, well designed code in PHP or Ruby. Competent in writing code for mobile applications.
- Familiar with web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, PHI
- Able to translate user experience into detailed specifications.
- Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality
- Follow industry best practices
- Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary
- Able to work 20 to 30 hours a week for a minimum of 4- 5 months.
- Good attitude & aptitude, and desires to grow in an ambitious, start-up environment where meaningful work is produced.
This position offer good prospect for a permanent, full-time position and shares in the start-up for the next stage of growth.
