Niometrics – UX Developer

An emerging company in the field of big data is looking for talented UX designers/developers with good portfolios, to help to create new experiences in visualizing large data sets for the business user. You must have previous experience developing web and/or software products, and must have a well-defined aesthetic and design sense. You will be working alongside an A-list team of core developers, so you must be self-motivated, team-driven, a good communicator, and work independently on tight deadlines.   

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop a real-time, dynamic, HTML5 based data visualization dashboard and platform

• Work with other core developers to achieve UI deliverables

Requirements:

•         Web and/or software design UI/UX experience
•         Proficient in HTML/CSS and comfortable with Javascript, Ajax and Canvas Prior experience with the following skills will be a big plus:
•         D3 (General purpose visualization and statistics library),
•         RaphaelJS (SVG library provided a high level cross platform API)
•         Lodash (functional data handling library)
•         Mobile and multi touch user interface is an advantage
•         Solid understanding of cross-browser/platform consistency and compatibility
•       High level of integrity with a strong work ethic
