Job Description

The Placement Assistant is responsible for supporting the placement team.

Internship: Minimum 4 days/week

No of open positions: 2 (Internship positions)

Office location: Central, Singapore

 

Duties and responsibilities:

 

Placement team:

·       Conduct research about different industries, compiling industry knowledge for the team;

·       Work on creating PowerPoint presentations on the industries researched;

·       Present researched industries to the team;

·       Research for potential company partnerships information and contacts and inputting the data into our internal database system;

·       Updating the company’s internal database of new contacts;

·       Consolidate resources for the placement team using business development tools and skills;

·       Contact companies via emails introducing our company and services;

·       Follow up with companies on possible partnerships;

·       Research and consolidate the list of networking events in the city for the placement team every month;

·       Attend networking events with the placement team members;

·       Attend company visits with the placement team;

·       Handle cases assigned by the team and secure placements for our clients as per request by each application;

·       Support the team in finding replacement internship hosts as necessary;

 

Marketing team:

·       Assist the marketing team to organize events every month by sending invitations to interns and keeping track of the attendance;

·       Attending and assist in organizing the events by the company;

·       Conduct market research on competitors and do market analysis;

·       Assist in consolidating promotional and marketing materials for the marketing team (photos, videos, blogs and feedback on events/trips);

·       Assist the marketing team in encouraging interns to participate in our events;

·       Provide support for the marketing team with ad-hoc tasks;

Others

·       Other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the company which includes supporting the Program and Management teams.

 

Skills and specifications:

·       Language requirements: Requires fluency in English;

·       Team player with experience working/being in a team environment;

·       Desire to learn professional skills (communication, planning, etc);

·       Interested in career education;

·       Current poly/university students;

·       Good time management and communication skills;

·       Outgoing personality and good interpersonal skills.
