The Accounts Executive/ Accounts Assistant will contribute to the efficient and effective workings of the finance department by executing daily tasks with a strong attention to detail. This role will utilize strong accounting knowledge, time management skills and effective problem solving to ensure success.

S p e c i f i c D u t i e s a n d R e s p o n s i b i l i t i e s

  • Accounts Payable - processing payment, petty cash reimbursement and verifying invoices
  • Accounts Receivable - invoicing, monitoring aging and reconciliation
  • Banking, processing bank deposits, including trips to the bank.
  • Processing Employee expense reports, verifying expenses are within the company guidelines, correcting errors, questioning abnormal expenses and entering into the finance system.
  • Maintaining proper accounting records.
  • Assisting with Monthly and Year End Closing Report
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects as required
  • Processing PIC claims
  • Partial HR function
Qualifications
  • Minimum Diploma or relevant certificates with 1 to 3 years working experience (Preferably in Finance / Accounting)
  • Accounting (or equivalent work experience)
  • 1-3 years accounting experience
  • Detail oriented, ability to show initiative and take responsibility
  • Strong MS Office skills
  • Effective time management skills
  • Enhanced verbal and interpersonal communications skills
  • Effective problem solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team oriented environment
  • Ability to favorably represent the Company image to clients
